The 21st Summer Deaflympics broke the mold when it made a name for itself in 2009. It’s the first Deaflympics competition held in the Asian city and the best one in the unprecedented record. This meaningful challenge touched everyone in Taiwan and became the treasure of Taipei. One year ago, the whole committee spread themselves too thin on the countdown stage. One year later, TDOC is going to make a wonderful ending with all efforts and into the official dismissed procedure. The significant Deaflympics legacy includes the sporting, cultural, humane and thoughtful aspects will be handed down to the next generation. And we believe that the Deaflympics sprit will be blooming everywhere someday in this beautiful island.

The 21st Summer Deaflympics was declared to the best one ever since it was held from 1924 by The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD).
