Former Bulls Star Pippen to Act as Deaflympics Spokesperson
United Daily News / Apr. 22, 2009 The Taipei Deaflympics Organising Committee announces that former NBA Chicago Bulls forward Scottie Pippen will arrive in Taiwan on April 24 to act as International Spokesperson for the Taipei Deaflympics; Pippen is scheduled to appear on Saturday at the friendship match between HBL champions Songshan Senior High and Taipei Deaflympics Team, and on Sunday at the SBL match between Taiwan Beer and Pure-Youth Construction. Taipei Deaflympics spokesperson A-mei is scheduled to hold a press conference next week, where she will announce the Deaflympics theme song, written and sung by herself.
